Shared Ownership with L&Q


In order to start the application form you need to meet all the mandatory criteria below.

This means each of the following statements are true:

  • I have not been declared bankrupt within the last 6 years.
  • I do not have an unsatisfied County Court Judgement (CCJ) registered against my name.
  • I am not in arrears with any tenancy payments or mortgage repayments.
  • I do not have any active Individual Voluntary Credit Agreements in place.
  • I have not had a home repossessed in the last 5 years.

This amount is a guideline figure and will vary depending on the product you buy through L&Q. In addition to this amount your mortgage lender is likely to require a minimum 5-10% deposit of the share you purchase.

During the next stage of the application process you will need to provide details of:

  • Personal details of each applicant and occupant
  • Employment details
  • Annual household income and savings
  • Details of other financial commitments
  • Current living arrangements
